01OverviewApp features and compatibility
1.1What the app does
MANTA Car TPMS interface
MANTA Car TPMS — interface

MANTA Car TPMS is an app for monitoring tire pressure and temperature. It works with compatible TPMS sensor kits through a USB receiver. The app displays the status of each wheel and warns of low or high pressure, signal loss or a low sensor battery. MANTA is designed for Android devices, primarily car head units.

  • Pressure — monitor readings for each wheel.
  • Temperature — track changes in the temperature measured by the sensor.
  • Battery level — receive warnings when a sensor battery is low.
✅ Designed for devices running Android 6.0 or later.
❌ Not designed for Android Auto or head units running other operating systems.
Important

The app helps monitor tire pressure and temperature but does not replace regular tire inspections. Readings may be inaccurate, delayed or temporarily unavailable. Do not rely solely on the app's data when assessing driving safety.

1.2How it works
How TPMS sensors, the USB receiver and MANTA work together
MANTA Car TPMS — how it works

You need a kit containing TPMS sensors and a compatible USB receiver. The app does not measure pressure itself: it receives, processes and displays data from the hardware.

  1. The sensors on the wheels measure pressure and temperature.
  2. Readings are transmitted wirelessly to the receiver supplied with the kit.
  3. The receiver connects to the Android device via USB and passes readings to MANTA.
  4. MANTA displays wheel status and generates warnings.
A receiver is required

A factory-installed TPMS system does not automatically make your vehicle compatible with MANTA. You need a kit whose data can be accessed through a supported USB receiver.

1.3Compatible hardware
External and internal TPMS sensors
MANTA Car TPMS — external and internal sensors

MANTA works with many external and internal TPMS sensors. A sensor kit with a USB receiver is required. Bluetooth receivers and factory-installed vehicle TPMS systems are not supported.

Compatible kits may use two types of sensors:

  • External — fitted to the outside of the tire valves. Easier to install, but less accurate and reliable.
  • Internal — installed inside the wheel during tire servicing.

Examples of compatible kits:

  • Unbranded Chinese kits
  • ProMusic and similar kits
  • TEYES
Compatibility with a specific hardware model is not guaranteed and must be tested before use.
02App setupFirst launch and configuration
2.1Installation and first launch

Before the first launch, install the sensors according to the manufacturer's instructions and connect the USB receiver to your device.

  1. Install and launch MANTA.
  2. Tap CONNECT. On first launch, Android may ask for permissions needed by the app. Grant the required permissions.
  3. Check that the app is receiving readings.
Please note

Some sensors may be in sleep mode and transmit data only when the vehicle is moving or measured values change.

2.2Setting critical pressure thresholds

In the app's SETTINGS menu, you can set minimum and maximum pressure thresholds. Readings below the minimum or above the maximum are treated as critical.

Set critical thresholds according to the vehicle and tire manufacturers' requirements.

2.3Adjusting readings
This setting is under development and will be available in future updates.
2.4Critical value warnings

When the corresponding option is enabled in the settings menu, MANTA warns you of critical pressure readings.

Warning options:

  • ✅ Critical Android system notification
  • ❌ On-screen overlay window (under development)
  • ❌ Audible alert (under development)
03Integration with AGAMALicense purchase and integration
3.1Integration with AGAMA
MANTA TPMS data displayed in AGAMA
MANTA Car TPMS — integration

MANTA is free to use with its full functionality. You do not need to purchase a license to use the app.

If you want data from MANTA to appear in AGAMA Car Launcher, you need to purchase a license.

With integration enabled, all TPMS data is displayed in the AGAMA interface without having to open the MANTA app. AGAMA can work directly with the MANTA service, start it in the background, and receive and process the necessary data.

Please note

Purchasing a license does not affect hardware operation or compatibility. Test your hardware in MANTA before purchasing a license.

3.2Purchasing a license through Google Play

You can purchase a license through Google Play within the app.

Go to Menu → Integration → Buy, then follow Google's payment instructions.

The license is activated automatically once payment is confirmed.

Google Play license purchases may be restricted in some regions.
3.3Purchasing a license on the website

When purchasing on the website, you receive a login and password to activate your license.

  1. Open the MANTA product page and click BUY.
  2. Enter a valid email address that you can access. Your license credentials will be sent to it.
  3. Complete payment through RoboKassa using an available payment method.
  4. After payment, save the login and password displayed in your browser. A copy will also be sent to the email address you provided.

Activation in the app

  1. Have the login and password you received after purchasing the license ready.
  2. In MANTA, open Menu → Integration → Activate.
  3. Enter your login and password to activate the license.
3.4Restoring a purchase

To restore your license, use the recovery page.
